Cheri Renee
Cheri Renée cut her publishing teeth in Las Vegas as an assistant editor and entertainment writer at Showbiz Weekly magazine. She has interviewed such entertainers as magician David Copperfield, comedian Rita Rudner, choreographers for the Radio City Rockettes, and the founders of Blue Man Group. In the Las Vegas market, she has also inked guides, profiles, features and chapters for Las Vegas Life Home & Design (H&D), 944, Racket, Vegas, What’s On Las Vegas, Time Out: Las Vegas and In Business Special Publications.
Cheri’s preferred writing and editing topics are more academic in nature, however. She has served as an English Language Arts Editor for Mcgraw-Hill Education and enjoys biomedical research editing, a specialty she pursued while exploring undergraduate premedical coursework. Cheri holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Augusta State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained her Masters of Science in Education from Fordham University in May 2009.
Cheri Renée cares about issues of social justice and human rights with a particular emphasis on the welfare of women and children. She would like to see an end to domestic and political violence in her lifetime and believes this can be achieved by the teaching and learning of mediation, negotiation, and nonviolent conflict resolution in settings ranging from pre-schools to Congressional halls.
Although she has roots in Las Vegas, Nevada and Augusta, Georgia, Cheri considers herself something of a nomad. Cheri Renée has visited 9 countries and 30 of the United States. She hopes to visit many more.

I love Rita Rudner
She performs live at Harrah’s Las Vegas these days. Maybe you should consider coming to see her show!
